The imposters have unsuccessfully been trying to pass thenselves off as Foster Farms chickens for over 15 years. So they found a trick they’ve never tried before: they had some major plumping done. See, plumping is a fake word we created to describe the all-too-real practice by some chicken companies of injecting their chickens with saltwater. In this way, they weigh more, and people will have to pay more. It’s a scam, basically. A scam that our Foster Farms Imposters just couldn’t say no to.
